To give back to society, OTIC Surveys in partnership with JCI Lagos Coral recently carried out a Health Project “Project Life Line,” a comprehensive health initiative aimed at providing essential healthcare services and sustainable amenities to our communities, especially rural communities that have little or no access to health care facilities. This time, we took it down to the Obalende community in Lagos State.
A key feature of the project is the construction of a borehole, ensuring reliable and safe water for the residents of Obalende. This initiative addressed water scarcity and helped prevent waterborne diseases, ensuring a healthier community. Additionally, the project offered regular blood pressure checks, aiding in the early detection and management of hypertension, eye tests, sugar level tests, dental screenings, Body Mass Index (BMI) checks, and general body check-ups. The project also distributed free drugs and mosquito nets to combat common health issues and malaria.
This collaboration with JCI Lagos Coral underscored our dedication to enhancing public health and improving lives in underserved communities.
We are excited to continue our efforts in creating healthier and more sustainable environments for communities in need.
